I've been on duloxetine for a few months now. Initial side effects sucked, bad headaches and severe dry mouth, but went away after 2 weeks. I still get a dry mouth from it, but I also sjogren's. But it's manageable by using mouth moisterisers, cough lollies ans carrying water with you Pain wise, it's been so helpful. I'm still on other pain killers, but I was able to get off my expensive compounded medication and use this instead

It worked for me for a while, but cause me to have brain fog, memory issues, BP irregularities, spasms, and fatigue. It helped pain some, and helped depression some. I just couldn't take the spasms anymore. If I was even an hour late taking it, I would get these horrible internal spasms through my limbs and head that came with heart palpitations. It took a long time like a month or two for it to completely clear my system after tapering it off. I tend to react poorly to medications though, so maybe it will work better for you! Best of luck!

I'm on it and it's been incredibly helpful!! I have fibro and maybe EDS and I felt like I was walking on clouds after taking it the first time. I never realized how much pain I was in until it stopped
