Struggling with POTS and Dehydration Headaches

I can’t keep enough water down to manage my POTS and I keep getting dehydration headaches. Has anyone tried thick water? I want to see if it works before I resort to iv fluids

Are you using electrolyte powders yet?

Yes, but the issue is that I can’t drink enough without getting nauseous

I drink liquid IV, it helps way better than plain water. I do get nauseous as well if I drink to much at once. I try to drink small amount through out the whole day.

I am on Fludrocortisone, and it basically helps you retain your salt to stay hydrated. Also, have you ever heard of and looked into Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)? You seem to have many of the comorbidities and symptoms. Just a thought 🤷

thanks! I have heard of MCAS but the allergist I saw said I don’t have it.
