Just Diagnosed with POTS: Seeking Advice on Propranolol

Just received a diagnosis for POTS! I know having an illness like this is nothing to be excited about, but having the peace of mind that comes with a diagnosis and beginning stages of treatment has been amazing. My doctor is considering starting me on propranolol, does anyone here have experiences with that medication that they could share to make everything seem a little less intimidating?

Yes, I take propranolol. I like it. I think it only makes me tired. It’s been a while since I started taking it but I don’t remember any bad side affects.

I also take Propanolol and agree with NewYork. To help with the tiredness, my doctor has me take it at night. I take it a bit before I actually go to bed, because I also struggle with insomnia. So I basically couldn't stay up during the day and couldn't sleep at night. They eventually did more blood work and found my B12 was low, so with supplements my symptoms were minimal. Good luck! Hope it works well for you.
