Tips for Managing POTs Symptoms During Your Period

Does anyone have any helpful tips about your period and POTs? My symptoms get like three times worse during my period and I was wondering if there is something else I should be trying? I already take salt tablets and eat lots of salt and drink water and electrolytes all the time and wear compression socks. Just looking for some helpful relief tips if anyone has any.

I would say try taking an iron supplement on your period, and we just have to be extra gentle with our bodies

I think I will try the iron supplement tomorrow! Thank you for this idea! I didn’t even think of it.

I know you said you already wear them I just wanted to clarify I DID read that haha I needed to throw in the shower tidbit in case that helps manage pain or ease symptoms in any way ( I’m so scatterbrained tonight I’m sorry )

I dont know about for POTS but a friend has otger somewhat similar medical issues. She had luck with the birthcontrol pills that regulate so you only have 1 period every 3 months. It helped her a lot. Reduced flow on that 3rd month too. Just a possibility.
