Seeking Treatment Options for POTS Diagnosis

my doctor has given me an informal diagnosis of POTS while awaiting confirmation from cardiology, but had told me there's no treatment other than increasing salt and fluid intake. is there really no medicines or other treatments I can try to make my symptoms manageable? I’ve tried propranolol and it’s good for the heart rate thing, but unfortunately it also lowers blood pressure, which can exacerbate POTS symptoms for those of us with already-low blood pressure. Just a heads up for OP!

do keep in mind that when your doctor says “increase salt” they don’t just mean adding more salt to your food! electrolyte sports drinks are good, but vitassium salt capsules are the key, in my experience. they genuinely do help.

I've been taking electrolyte plus salt tablets twice a day and have dissolvable electrolytes for my drinks if i feel I need them. They do seem to be helping

I take metoprolol for tachycardia and midodrine as a vasoconstrictor. Together they’ve helped me a lot. I still need to wear compression socks and drink 80 oz of water a day but no longer feel severe pain or heart racing
