I think my doctor mentioned something like that may happen if you have low blood pressure. It took me a while by trial and error to find out my right dosage.

Not at all, I can't remember most of my nightmares, and I don't wake up in the middle of the night anymore :)

I'm on the lowest dose possible so maybe I'm not the right person to ask, but I do feel like I sleep a normal amount of sleep then I was before (either 4 hours or 13 hours at a time). I pretty much stopped having trauma induced nightmares and when I do they aren't as sever or emotionally draining/causing panic attacks. And the dreams aren't in 4 hours in any more, they are about 8-9 hours into sleeping.

I've never woken up from nightmares, I just get to experience them all night. The Prazosin has been amazing. Sometimes I still have nightmares, but they are no longer every single night like they had been since I was a child.

I'm so glad they are working! I started counciling and a week or 2 in I started having a similar nightmare every night. I was so lucky to have a psychiatrist apt less than a week later. I had wicked dark circles and i had my first date 3 days into the nightmares 😂😅. Prazosin immediately stopped them and I'm so happy. Meds are so good 😆
