I’m about to start getting off of it. May I ask what side effects you’re experiencing? 😬

Congratulations DavahBaa! Welcome to the coming down from steroids club. Well, again I’ve been on a high dose for almost 2yrs so my side effects are pretty severe: nausea/vomiting, weakness, extreme fatigue, body aches/joint pain, mood swings (that one is fun) and of course there’s the fever. The worst part is the body aches- but not much you can do right?

I have been on 8mgs of Medrol for two weeks. I’m starting to improve a little bit but I definitely want to get of it soon.

Talk to your doctor maybe he can make the taper slower. My rheumatologist told me that some people have to taper 1mg or less at a time everyone is different. I do better at 1.25 if I try any more mood swings are almost unbearable along with bad Muscle pain and everything else.

I’m having very similar issues. Just going down by 10mg every two weeks. From 80 to 50. Then had to stop as my numbers started getting worse again. But even at 50 the side effects are killing me
