Propranolol for Anxiety: Good or Bad?

For anyone who takes propranolol for anxiety, is it good? Any side effects? I’m very nervous about anxiety meds but really need to start taking something and I was suggested this medication

I use propranolol as an emergency med in cases of anxiety/panic attacks. It does immensely help and I genuinely see benefit in it. However, this is not something I'd want or take as a daily medication since it does really affect blood pressures and I wouldn't want that regularly

I’ve been on it for a few months now and it does help with my anxiety! the only side effect I’ve experienced is fairly low blood pressure but that’s something I’ve started to kind of adapt to and continuously monitor throughout the day to prevent myself from getting lightheaded or dizzy!

I take it for high blood pressure/anxiety and I’ve been on it for over a year now. I don’t have any issues with it. If I take it in the morning I do feel tired pretty quickly so I have to take it at lunchtime. I’m on the lowest dose too.
