Prozac and Acid Reflux: Anyone Else?

I've been on Prozac since the beginning of the year. I found it to be a miracle drug for my OCD/Depression/Anxiety. But I notice fairly often that I get really bad acid reflux not super long after taking it. I can't really find anything online about it. Anyone else have this experience? If so, what helps yours?

Sorry, I have a question for you, not an answer. Did starting prozac make your anxiety worse at first? Is it hard to start? When did it start helping? My doctor prescribed prozac but im terrified to try it. Im super sensitive to antidepressants and have had awful experiences. Im currently on lexapro and a small dose of klonopin, neither are working.

it didn't make me more anxious per se but I could def feel something different, maybe just moving a little faster. Which really could have been feeling more energy and less depressed. I found it really easy to start. I saw a noticeable difference in depression after about 2 weeks and anxiety at about 3.5. OCD about 5 weeks. I've been on a lot of antidepressants and it was the best transition I've made too. I'm also on Wellbutrin but I switched from Pristiq to prozac, which I later found out had been making me more anxious. When I was switching I got some moderate headaches/migraines because of the withdrawal from the Pristiq. But those went away after I tapered to from 1/3 dose. One thing I like about Prozac is that it has a longer half-life so if you take your meds later than normal one day, you don't get massive headaches/brain zaps which I found happened with the Pristiq if I was like 2 hrs late. In my experience, it's also less sedating than other antidepressants/klonopin. The only side effects I notice are the occasional acid reflux and yawning which is like nothing comparatively. It's like a miracle drug for me. Highly recommend. If there's anything else I can help with, let me know! Hope it goes well if you decide to switch!

I didn’t even think about eating it with food. Thanks!
