I do take prozac and I have for a while, It does work most of the time but sometimes you do slip through the meds. They aren’t fully yk stable?? But they do make your life so much better.

I love it. It has been a miracle med for me. I’ve been on countless antidepressants, all kinds, SSRIs, SNRIs, TCAs, NDRIs & SARIs, NaSSAs, As well as off label antipsychotics & mood stabilizers. Some worked better than others. But Prozac is the best, for me anyway. No bad side effects. No brain zaps when I’m late taking it. It took a bit, but now I’m on the highest dose (80mg) and it is magical. Not only does it help the depression but also the anxiety and OCD that no other med had ever had any effect on. It took time of course, but now it is great. I guess the only downside for me is the capsule vs. pill. Capsules give me acid reflux but switching to the pills completely fixed that, sometimes it is annoying that I have to take 4 pills for one dose. But they’re small. So it really isn’t a complaint. It is more activating and not sedating like others. It slowed my thoughts down. And it is great. Prozac & Vyvanse were the miracle meds for me. It changed my life.

hi I am in the UK and the highest dose of prozac my Dr will give me is 60mg, are you in the USA? I take Vyvanse too 50mg. I have had a bad few months and wanted to try 80mg to see if it would get me out of this funk, I have plenty tablets, just a bit scared to take 80mg

I take prozac to treat symptoms of my CPTSD, PTSD, and OCD. It has been helpful in some aspects, but I have only just started taking it due to my total combination of issues it's really hard to medicate me. I still suffer from anxiety and depression but it's not quite as horrifying, I'm not curled in a ball crying or locking myself in the bathroom, having a panic attack every hour anymore.

It made me paranoid and see things that were not there so I stopped after one the first try. The doctor said that I must be allergic to it.

I'm on 60 mg of Prozac once daily as well as Buisprone & the combo is working effectively for me so far.. It's been 2.5 years that I was diagnosed with PTSD, Severe Anxiety & other mental health issues..
