Dealing with PTSD while supporting a loved one through surgery

I have PTSD and today I just came back from Waterman Advent Health Hospital bc my partner, Mark, had extensive surgery. He has a history of heart attacks. He already had a stent put in his chest, I don't know what the cardiologists/surgeons did this time. I have a history of spending time in the hospital because I have Hydrocephalus and have had 33+ surgeries throughout my life. So going into the hospital triggered my PTSD a lot bc of all the beeping and the nurses coming in and out of our room we were staying in. I had to break the news to his mom that he had surgery. She had no idea. Please be thinking/praying for Mark. I am SO PROUD of him, of his bravery, of his tenacity, and how he can stay so positive through all this and still have his awesome personality. 🫶🏼
