Questioning my fibromyalgia diagnosis

Usually with fibromyalgia research says that the pain is usually on both sides of the body at the same time… but for me my leg side kills me 😩 When my left knee is hurting my right knee doesn’t hurt .. currently in this moment my left knee and leg is bothering me but my right elbow is bothering me.. Does this happen to anyone else? It’s things like this that make me question my diagnosis.

I have pain hotspots sometimes too! like localized flares! I don't think it makes your diagnosis any less valid. in any case, your experience itself is valid and I wish you relief <3

I regularly have things like this happen with my fibro. It's not normally side and side but it's normally top or bottom. When my legs are bad, my arms are ok, when my arms hurt my legs are ok. Now this isn't all the time though, most days it's all over pain but I kind of get what you're feeling.

I get more pain in my legs I can't sit or stand too long I have pain when walking I have pain getting in and out of my car. I do get pain in my arms but not as bad as my legs I have lost strength in my arms and after any little outing to the store I'm wiped out don't even have energy to put groceries away.
