Random Pin Pricks on Arms, Legs and Face

does anyone else get what feeling like random pin pricks on their arms, legs and face? it has been going on for a couple months and happens on and off everyday, even when I am not anxious, no tingling or numbness just what feels like a simple pin prick. been worrying about MS and different nerve issues, could it just be anxiety?

You may want to see someone to rule out the other stuff, but anxiety can absolutely cause tingling and pins and needles type feeling. I have other health issues that cause it but also have found it to be common with anxiety.

I have fibromyalgia and have those issues sometimes! I agree probably best to see a doctor to rule out other conditions and ease your mind.

my aunt and my mom both have fibromyalgia, so that could be a possibility, how do they test for it?

A rheumatologist diagnoses it! They will rule out other conditions like rheumatoid first through a blood test then ask questions about your pain and sensations. They may also do a tender points test where the doctor will exert pressure on spots on the body that are known to cause pain for people that have fibro and record how long it hurts.
