Knowing and believing that you are capable of growth❤️ This is something that has helped me tremendously! Sometimes I would find it impossible to believe that healing was possible or that I even cared enough to chose that. But knowing that my mind, my physical brain, is more than capable of change and growth, gave me confidence. I couldn't, and can't always rely on my will power to heal me, because let's be honest, we don't always feel like it. But the mind is an ever evolving and ever growing thing, and taking one day at a time, meeting even your most basic needs, is gaining a little bit of progress, even when you don't feel it🤍

Knowing that what you are feeling in the moment is temporary and all things go back to "this too shall pass". Life is a wheel that keeps turning and you will one day be on the upside of the wheel.

What helps me is talking to people with a lot of life experience who have dealt with what I've been through or worse. It sort of reminds me of my human nature to overcome conflict in life.. If that makes any sense
