Reglan/Metoclopramide: Experiences?

Has anyone else been on reglan/metoclopramide? I've been on it for almost a year now and unfortunately had no changes in my gastric motility. If you have/are on it what have your experiences been like?

My gaatroparesis somewhat improved while on reglan. The only problem that I was told I shouldn’t use it for more than 12 weeks so I stopped

I was on it for a month which I was told was the maximum at a time and I got some relief from my symptoms but they came back within a few weeks of going off of it. So I don’t think it’s really a long term solution.

Hi there . I tried Reglan and ended up with tremors as well . But everyone is different . After a bad reaction that ended in an Emergency Room visit, it was decided that I stop taking it . 😰 but like I said everyone is different . Best of luck 💕

I take it as needed and it helps. Some days it’s multiple times a day others not at all.

I was on it for the recommended 3 months and after the first month I noticed it didn't help me anymore. I definitely would talk to your doctor about your concerns, if it's not helping then it might be time for something new.

I Was Prescribed it Very Early…I Don’t Think A Medication That Has More Side Effects than The Disease itself is A Good Option
