Running out of medication

So I can't get my medications as one of the items is long term out of stock, I thought I could get the rest of the medication that was on prescription but no, so I don't know what I'm meant to do in the mean time.

Call your doctor's office and tell them what is going on.

Your Dr can change your meds to some that are available in the meantime. I had the same problem with one of my neuro meds once. It's a pain, but it will get better.

You can take capsaicin internally through your diet. It's derived from chili peppers. I don't recommend using ground chilies in a direct plaster externally, but it can be done for short periods. Just mix it with a good lotion and leave on for no more than 5 minutes. Adding chilies to your diet along with turmeric and black pepper can help... just throwing out some ideas.

I'm not sure if it's legal in your state or not but for days that are really bad I can take a CBD/THC gummy and it will make it easier for sometimes 2 day. It's a 10mg gummy too, they don't take the place of, but if legal there maybe an option for a "in the meantime" thing

Diazepam is sold under several different brand names. Perhaps they can substitute one for another brand. It is a benzodiazepine so they may be able to also switch meds to something else such as Xanax, Ativan, or Klonopin which would be in stock. It is very stressful but try your best to stay calm and release tension. Stress is often a trigger for me.

Venlafaxine worked well for me for anxiety, chronic pain, and aches. Would recommend accupuncture or massage therapy as well.

The problem with massage therapy and acupuncture is most times it’s not covered under insurance. Very frustrating.
