Well, while back surgery can do a lot of good, a close relative got back surgery and while it helped to straighten her spine, she told me that her lower back pain was significantly worse. I don't mean to scare you, just figured I'd share

I have scoliosis and recently went through a slipped disc surgery. While the surgery helped the major pain, it left me with more general lower back pain. Im worried another back surgery would make it worse. Regular stretching and muscle toning exercises do help the pain, but doesnt cure it.

I don’t know if this helps but I had VBT surgery and because the tether broke I am left with constant back pain.

I have scoliosis and had to have the corrective surgery as a teenager and it’s seems like it’s been a fight every since with chronic pain and chronic inflammation. But if I didn’t have corrective surgery I’m sure I would have been dealing with the same but worse with my posture would have gotten so bad my ribs would have punctured an organ soooo I think I really would had pain either way but not being endangered with my internal organs as much now come to think about it … thank u never really thought of if I didn’t get the surgery … always battling pain now that u don’t really think about I guess it coulda been worse ❤️

I can really relate to you. I have had two spinal fusions the first one failed then the second one was to fix it. Now I'm stuck wondering if I would've been better off but I keep praying for help.

I use cannabis too for inflammation. And I need to work on getting off some of my medications. It's only been two years since my second surgery
