Struggling with Seizures: Seeking Advice and Support

hey y'all. my seizures have been getting worse again. I'm very weak and can barely stand for more than 30 seconds at a time most days. today, I showered for the first time in 25 days. (gross, I know). I just don't want it to get this bad again. the last month or so has been awful. what are some steps I can take to get better or, at the very least, stay clean-ish? thanks in advance. it's much appreciated. love y'all, and if there's anyone out there going through something similar, I wish you the best. 🫶 until next time.

Is there anyone that can help with things around the house to make sure you're ok and with the hygiene maybe try using a bath stool or turning the shower off getting out before you have a seizure and lay down to prevent injury

there are indeed other people in the house, but they aren't very helpful, honestly. I typically just try to take it easy, and if they take care of things, great! if not, I usually get to them later when I have a bit more energy. as for keeping me safe, not really, unless I make noise, fall to the ground, etc. I usually get myself onto my left side, prepare for the seizure to the best of my ability, and wait it out. usually, not much attention is given to me, unfortunately. but, usually, my seizures aren't too awfully severe so it's thankfully worked out so far. sorry if I'm rambling lol

I have seizures, too. They used to really bad, but now I'm on seizure meds. Maybe you could have some small items nearby so you can take care of yourself and stay clean.
