Is there a way to get a dog that can do both?

Pots is something you can be aware of right? When you stand must be. Very cautious…? Blindness you can’t control so I’d say seeing eye service dog. My best friend has pots. Before diagnosis she’d pass out with zero blood pressure upon standing sometimes…

Yes I was going more towards a guide dog to. I've actually started to work on getting one. I'm working on my mobility training so that I can get going with that. ☺️

I would ask around about getting a doggo that is trained/ will be trained for both. Many service dogs are trained for multiple tasks.

Why can’t your guide do also alert you to blood pressure changes?

I don't know I'd have to ask, but i just don't know if there is a dog for those things because every time I say I have pots, people sound like I'm crazy and out of my mind.

I think people just dont know or understand whats POTS is and from what I understand people tend to go undiagnosed normally. They may also be reacting that why due to just the abbreviated name. I actually just started watching this girl on youtube who is blind and has a guide dog names Molly Burkhe. Maybe she would be helpful? I also used to watch this person and her best friends who have chronic illnesses and service dogs called chronically jaquie (i forgot how its spelled).

@perfectionist. Unfortunately Jacquie passed away. It was a shock and many youtubers in the chronic illness/ eds community did videos about it.

Fortunately, yes, I do watch molly berk, I've been subscribed to her for such a long time. Hmm I guess I could comment on one of her videos 🙏
