Seeking Advice for Severe Abdominal Pain and Nausea

I need some advice because I don’t know what could be going on. I’ve had the worst tummy pain but it’s more upper abdominal (more where the actual stomach is and a little around my chest and ribs) it’s been killing for days. I can still breathe but it’s definitely become more uncomfortable to do so and breathing makes the extreme nausea I’m getting worse. Over the past days I’ve had series of throwing up and some days where I’ve been able to eat bits but never a full meal. When I breathe my spine hurts and occasionally I get a feeling like the left side of my chest (from left ribs to collarbone and spine) is being crushed. It’s really painful when this happens and it kept me up rolling round all night. Paracetamol and ibrufen (I can’t spell it) weren’t working so after many hours I made the decision to go to hospital. The doctor said if it were an infection I’d be coming in “much sicker” and passed it all off as period pains and told me to go see my gp tomorrow for a gyno referral. Due to my symptoms (which I’ve never had before) I don’t believe this is a period issue but I don’t know what else it COULD be so idk what suggestions to make when I go in. Anyone got any ideas?
