Feeling shunt movement: Is it normal?

Can anyone with a shunt (preferably vp shunt) feel it move if they jolt their head?

Yes!! And it hurts! I’ve had a shunt since I was one. I’m almost 47. I’m having head pains right now I’ve has 2 malfunctions so far and have lost over85% of my vision. Hydrocephalus lifetime chore!

My last shunt revision was 15 years ago. It was hard because they had to move it to the other side of my head. Because every time I would move my head the shunt would rub a nerve and aggravate it.

No. Mine is set pretty well. A warning sign for me is pressure behind my eyes. So I never take any kind of pain medication.
