My test result read severe so I'm looking at months of treatment. I just started the herbal treatment. Starting natural before take the antibiotic because it makes me nervous. I've heard not great things of Rifaximin

I don’t have SIBO but have lymphocytic colitis and am also trying to figure out diet changes to help with symptoms. It’s hard to do it all on top of not having gluten.

I had SIBO for months but I changed my diet and ate very strict to the very few things that didn’t flare it, it improved after awhile but honestly this is gunna sound crazy but I took the second vaccine dose and it cleared up my SIBO!!! Doc told me it could be that my body finally fought off the overgrowth of bacteria from having my immune system stimulated. Idk but the diet might have paid off as well. I used an SIBO diet app that lists foods that are safe for SIBO. Also am dairy/gluten free. And don’t eat mean besides fish occasionally. And my SIBO has not come back for over a years. Fingers crossed it stays like that! I didn’t take any herbals. I only took magnesium supplements and vitamin d
