Flagyl made the difference after many round with rifaximin to no avail, my symptoms are gone Did flagyl with rifa, three times a day Flagyl 500mg times 3 Rifa 550 times 3 Morning empty stomach prebiotic (culturelle ibs packets) Also morning empty stomach biofilm disrupters

ugh i was treated multiple times and i don’t think it is gone. still have ibs symtoms (basically the same as my sibo symptoms). been taking probiotics twice a day for months too

I’m on my 2nd round of Xifaxan and it’s not working ☹️

give it some time. Xifaxan works. It took me a few rounds and then it started working.

I suffer from sibo and have to take xifaxan several times a year to control my bacteria and get my guy to stop hurting

Same here. I've had xifaxan twice. The second time was xifaxan AND neomycin for 2weeks but it still came back. Only relief for me is lowFOD diet with no sugar or wheat. My ND/functional doc is going to do a slow reintroduction diet. I also have IBS-MIXED.
