YES! I’m not formally diagnosed but I’ve been picking my skin since elementary school (mainly my fingers). When I’m having a really rough day with lots of stress I can come home and not even realize how messed up my fingers were! I don’t know a whole lot about it aside from personal experience but I know it’s out there!

i pick a lot and it’s really bad. i cannot stop myself from picking at any bumps or i won’t sleep bc i know they are there. my fingers are so bad, my face, my back, and my arms. it’s really hard because i get told by many people to just stop and it doesn’t work like that. also not diagnosed

@ bunni I pick all the time especially at work. People even thought once a long scab on my inner part of my arm was from “cutting”. For 1 it’s too high to be that and that’s not something I do. My hubby tells me to stop a lot and is determined to get me to stop. I’ve been picking a lot of my life. No one so far as been able to make me stop. So I tell him good luck lol

YES!!! Any bumps. Pimples. My lips. My fingers. It’s worse when I’m stressed but I still do it all the time. If there’s something on my body that’s not supposed to be there I have to make it go away. I’m so scarred it’s disgusting.

Sometimes I have skin on the inside of my mouth or something and I keep picking or chewing it, and my toungue/fingers start hurting to the point where I cry because I'm using them so much, but I have to keep doing it until it's gone. I hate OCD :)
