Looking for Sleep Apnea Solutions

What have you found that helps with sleep apnea? My doctors keep pointing in this direction for my symptoms, but I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep with a CPAP or any dental device. I’d like to hear how others have fared with those types of interventions or if there are any other things that helped better.

I sleep just fine with a CPAP despite the noise

I didn’t know there was a noise involved, I was just thinking that having something on my face would be too distracting. Thanks for the info!

The CPAP and dental devices are definitely the most effective, but if they would bother you too much, you could try a chin strap. It’s basically just a headband you put under your chin around your head to try to keep your mouth closed at night. It doesn’t work as well as the other two, but it could help

So far my doctor has told me to try losing weight. I’m 50lbs overweight. Unfortunately I haven’t slept in 3 days. But I don’t know if it’s randomly the sleep apnea causing insomnia or the femotidine my doctor has had me on for 4 weeks now to resolve my acid reflux issues. I’m hoping it’s the latter.
