Celebrating Small Victories in My Battle with Depression

I changed my sheets today. It's not a lot, but getting out of bed to clean is a big step for me. It makes me sad to think about but I also want to be able to celebrate small steps. I haven't left my room for more than an hour in months, so I might try to go outside tomorrow. I am nervous but I think it'll be good. I also plan on working out a little bit if my condition lets me. I don't know how long i can commit to things like this, though.

✋good work! I understand! I suffer from the same condition. Don't ever beat yourself up for the I didn't. Always reward yourself for the I did's. Remember you are a work in progress... a masterpiece!

thank you so much i literally started crying because of this message you have no idea how much this means to me. its been really hard and scary going through this journey alone. I've just entered adulthood and its so terrifying knowing that from here on i need to learn how to be independent and that i need to make an effort to build my future. Its really difficult but I know that as long as im making progress things will work out eventually. 💕
