This has been such a help for me just started a few months ago and noticed an improvement in just over a week my doc says it will keep working better the longer I take it. The actual administration of the auto injector isn’t my favorite thing even though needles don’t bother me typically but it’s 100% worth it

Literally cured my incurable migraines. The only medication that ever even touched them. The shot sucks a lot, it’s worse than my crohn’s shots, but it’s worth it for the migraine relief.

I LOVE ajovy!! I take mine as 3 shots every 3 months instead of monthly. But it’s been a life changer. I’m almost 100 days migraine free because of it. I use the syringes because I heard the autoinjector was awful.

@doglover25006 have you tried the syringes instead of the injector? I love them.

@kelz no I haven’t my doc only offered my the auto injector. I just started it 3 months ago. She did it for me in the office the first time and it wasn’t so bad but doing it myself is tough. I’m not sure why it bothers me so much though since I tolerate giving myself intramuscular injections of toradol at home for breakthrough migraines with no problem.

The auto injector is so painful. It leaves me bruised for days. I just started on the syringe last night and it was significantly easier. I did take a Valium because I am so traumatized from the auto injector. If I could offer you any advise is to skip the autoinjector and go straight for the syringe. It helps my migraines significantly. There’s nothing out there like it with the limited side effects. Best of luck to you

Oh thank you so much for the advice of using syringes instead of auto. The auto. are so so painful for me, the location swells up snd itches terribly, then bruises until the next month when I start all over again! Ugh!
