I have tried all of the meds that my sleep DR has prescribed for EDS. Coffee & energy drinks make my heart race, but it makes my brain more sleepy. I sleep great with my bipap machine and Xywav. I wake up feeling great but get very sleepy throughout the day. I walk for about an hour at least every other morning. I'm usually wide awake during that, but I need a nap soon after.

I don’t know if there’s any science behind it but for me, when I do intentional stretches before and after a short walk I am able to hold onto the alertness longer (I try to walk at least 3x/4x a week but it doesn’t always happen!) Nothing fancy. Just warm up and cool down stretches but I go slow and do certain stretches longer if it feels like a certain area of my body is tighter.

Hello! I have heard great things about Spring Valleys B12 drops (I found it at Walmart for $7). I only just started and so I can’t speak to it myself but I know a lot of people have seen benefits. One dropper under your tongue for 30 seconds. I also try to get as much natural light as possible and I have found the app Endel helps me a lot with focus. It uses different sounds/frequencies/etc. I just use the free version. I know the struggle so I hope this helps!
