I think it depends what kind and if it is long or fast acting. I have fast acting Adderall and don't take it most weekends and school breaks

If you are taking a stimulant like Vyvance, yes. If you take coffee, for example, then no. Coffee is also not really great for high stress moments. Talking meds regularly will keep you focused and reduce your stress. If I miss a day, I notice it and not in a good way. I just go into overwhelm shut-down. Important to find meds that suit you though. Good luck.

To maintain structure I suggest you try books they are not easy especially when your main focus is sport but it still gives you something that will guide you through

If you mean ‘will the effects of it last until the next day so I don’t need to take it’ no it’s something that needs to be taken daily. However both due to forgetfulness and also bc when I was in hs my mom would make me go off it for trips and even sometimes just weekends (she was also worried abt addiction) there were times I took breaks (both for Adderall and Ritalin) and it didn’t rlly do anything bad besides just the general brain fog.

It should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. Instructions are on the bottle as to how that medication needs to be taken.

It depends on whether or not it is a stimulant. Stimulants like Adderall and Ritalin you don't necessarily have to take all the time. But non-stimulants like Vyvanse and Strattera should be taken daily; they should always be in your system. Although it is good to be consistent with the stimulants so that your brain and body can get used to the effects. But taking a few days in between is not a big deal otherwise.
