Stomach Ache After Bathroom Use

Does anyone get a stomach ache after using the bathroom?

Yes. But describe it more cuz there are so many different types of stomach pain. Some burning, some cramping, some stabbing. It’s a fun time

More of mild to moderate cramping in the lower abdomen.

It sometimes does. I have found out that there are foods I can eat later in the day which won’t cause me issues in general. However if I eat those on an empty stomach, I get cramps. There are some foods I can eat anytime. Those usually do not cause issues after bowel movements unlike the former.

You might want to go to a GI and nutritionist. I have gluten intolerance and IBS and I know it’s challenging. The other suggestion I have is try a elimination diet to see what you can handle.

Thank you! I have gone to GIs and nutritionists. Have been on the low FODMAP diet for years now and tried all elimination I could think of: seems like the list changes with time. Have also been treated for methane SIBO as well which has reduced bloating. Honestly, at this point, I am just too tired of this IBS acting up haha.
