I know it’s a weird way to think about it but don’t fight them. The reason they happen is because the more u think about them the more your brain gets put into a panic state. Allow your body to feel any emotions you are feeling. Whether u feel overwhelmed, sad, or anxious. It’s ok. Allow your body to temporarily feel it and just experience the emotions that are overcoming your body. You may not know why u are feeling the way u are but it shall pass. All love

Meditation also helps tremendously as the reason these anxiety attacks happen is because of a build up of anxiety and stress that is released all at once when the mind and body can no longer take it and feel overwhelmed. You can also take herbs such as ashwaganda that change the way the body reacts to stress and anxiety. Find ways to release stress of everyday life so that it does not build up over time.

For me i try finding other things to focus on. Sight. Sound. Texture. another I do is close my eyes and try to control my breathing while counting every sound around me, any and EVERY sound, i find that the calmer i can be and the closer i listen the more my attention focused on the subtle things i don't normally hear with everyday noise such as a cricket, bird chirping, wind. Lastly another i try is picturing a figure 8 or infinity sigh and visually go over it. While on one side of the 8 i breathing in slowly and as i approach the other side and go over it i slowly exhale, and repeat over and over till I'm calmer.

Positive redirection! If you have a pet, even better. Take them for a walk or play with them. It’s so hard to get up and move but honestly it’s so worth it. If you get the chance to go outside, I love looking at the plants and bugs and just focus on them. Listen to the silence!

My therapist recommended bilateral stimulation as a coping method for panic/anxiety attacks it’s where you tap one hand on a thigh and the other hand on the other thigh then alternating between the two of that doesn’t make sense I highly recommend doing some research on it because there have been studies that show this tactic can actually change the chemicals in your brain to produce more properly it’s basically brain reset
