I do many things. I have medication that I take for anxiety in general… On top of that for cases like you’re talking about, I use CBD from the marijuana plant. I have a medical card so I’m able to access this. CBD from the hemp plant does not work as well also it’s not regulated so you never know what you’re getting. Dialectical behavioral treatment techniques can work, they don’t really for me. But, counting helps. Like, counting five objects that are red and then counting five objects that are green and so on and so on. Naming things around you also helps. For instance, I see a window, I see a dog, I see a plant, and so forth. Basically stuff to distract you. Another thing that helps is breathing techniques. Breathin for a count of four, hold it for a count of three, let it out on a count of four. Maybe Google that part because there are different numbers for different types of results. I’m sorry that you’re experiencing such anxiety. I hope it gets better for you. Sometimes I have to watch other things other than the news since it’s so twisted in our world right now. I hope this helps.
