What brings you enjoyment? Those little things you yearn for through the day. Whether it be drawing, reading, sleeping, etc. Give those time. It's amazing how helpful the tiny things are when it comes to mood.

I'd say. Sewing, drawing, playing games, nature, hiking, swimming, chanterelles, hagfishes, sex, relationships that work, friends, bath bombs to name a few

How about yourself?

It has. Been tough. Not being able to carry my own biological child has been a huge part of my depression lately and it's caused a lot self harm to myself. Not like ending myself, it's more of craving to hurt myself. It's so weird when i feel like that. You could say I'm a masochist in that regard. The scary part is that everytime i get depressed it has to be something different every time to get me out of it and that scares me the most.

Life can feel extremely overwhelming at times, and I'm so sorry you are feeling that way now. I have been there many times. It is very difficult to get out of, but I try to take one step at a time towards a better me. What has helped me most is knowing that I can do things to make myself feel better. Instead of feeling like everything is out of my control, I know that there are some things that will make me feel better in the long or short run if I embrace them. Take some deep breaths, and try to focus on what you can do to solve the problem instead of solely focusing on it. I have had trouble sleeping my entire life because of my anxiety, so I had to change a lot of things to make it better. I now have a set bedtime routine that starts after I take my melatonin. I dim the lights, play rain sounds, and get ready for bed. When I am feeling down, I try to do things that I know will make me feel better in the long run. Like getting 10-30 minutes of sunshine, doing a 15-30 minute workout, playing video games with my friends, or calling up a loved one.
