Struggling with Misdiagnosis and Identity Crisis

Hey guys, long post. In 2020 i was diagnosed with type 1 bipolar disorder. I ended up ghosting my therapist and psych team. Im seeking help again, i have a therapist ive been seeing for a while and recently ive had the horrible experience of possibly being misdiagnosed. I finally got to a psychiatrist and he doesn’t think Im bipolar but instead thinks i have bpd. Bpd takes a while to diagnose so i wont know for a while, but my therapist also insists i show a lot of symptoms of ocd. I just started lamotrigine last week and im hopeful itll help me but the possible misdiagnosis is extremely jarring to me because i feel like i lied to everyone. And i was kinda mean to the psychiatrist and I just need to know if anyone else has had a similar experience and how you all are coping. I feel like my entire interpretation of myself has been destroyed. I have no idea who i am now or if the abuse Ive experienced in my prior romantic relationships is valid or something i over exaggerated because of my mental illness. Which in turn is making me super anxious and i cant stop reliving it to see if i was really the bad guy. Please let me know your thoughts
