Struggling to Drink Water with Depression and Sensory Issues

Does anyone else struggle with drinking water? I know it helps a ton with my symptoms, but with my depression, executive dysfunction, and sensory issues with the taste of water, I never want to drink it. I dread drinking it, and I just don’t know what to do! I’ve tried adding things into my water, which helps with the taste but I don’t have the motivation to do it all the time

You can try making a big bottle of cold water with some fruit inside. Making the bottle in the morning with an amount for the whole day so you won't need to think about it, just drink the bottle. Do it every morning with different fruit for diversity.

I have severe depression and deffo struggle with it. Heres some thing i find helps me: Lots of ice, and those water bottles with times on em. If u end up missing a few hours, u chug. Consider finding a flavor of powder with salt+electrolytes. Knowing theres vitamins in my water makes my brain say "ooh if u drink this u did good! For body!!" Also Popsicles. Not an everyday thing, unless you decide to make your own. Honestly i use a popsicle mold and just put frozen fruit chunks and water in em. That way im hydrating and consuming fruit. Maybe a lil salt on it, or a powder flavoring. It takes 5 minute to just pour frozen chunks in the mold and fill em with water. Put em in the feeezer, 6 hours later, BAM, you got a popsicle. Also available is these water tablet things, that you add to water so its easier for ur body to absorb. It doubles ur waters effectiveness. If ur binging a show, drink at least half a glass durinh/after each episode. Pause that thing and do a stretch or 2 after a few episodes.

I have had sooo many problems drinking water, for me it just hurts my stomach or i feel like im tasting the minerals and im not a fan. I personally have a really nice pitcher that filters water and even though i may occasionally still have problems drinking it, it has helped me a ton!
