Struggling to Eat: Need Advice

Does anyone here just, not have the mental capabilities to eat sometimes? Like rn, I’m sorta hungry. But I’ve been eating sparingly these past few days going into weeks. I try to eat once a day, but can barely bring myself to do it. I dunno what to do.

Can you help? Connect today

Yeah, I can relate to that. My medication contributes to it sometimes too. The best thing to do is just make sure you eat. For me, I eat around the same times I usually would even if I'm not hungry.

ohh that makes a lot of sense! When I do take my meds I notice it’s on a empty stomach so I usually feel the effects a lot more too! Thanks for that!

I deal with essential tremor and it's hard for me to eat let alone cook. Sometimes I just don't eat because I don't wanna deal with it

oh that makes sense, hm…have you tried already made meals? Like stuff you can reheat? I noticed sometimes doing that helps alot

For me it's the effort if my social or mental battery is low I can't bring myself to eat

Same. It gets to where if I do eat, even if just a few bites I feel nauseous. There's days that I just can't look at food. It will smell so good and inviting but just don't want it.
