Struggling with Accepting My Diagnosis

I struggle with accepting my diagnoses sometimes. I'm here to hopefully work on that. Just being able to talk about these things that cause so much pain to me and not feel guilty. What was your first step if you've felt a similar way?

Acknowledging the struggling and allowing myself to grieve what I could’ve been, the healthy me, and journaling those personally helped me. I wish you the best on your journey ❤️

I need to do the same thing as you. My therapist told me to write letters to myself? I'm here to chat if you want

I totally understand! I feel like I should keep it all inside. It would be nice to talk to someone who understands 😊❤️

I'm still trying to come to terms with it; the thing that helps me is to talk to others who share the same experiences, especially ones that focus on taking care of themselves ( it helps me feel validated and in a way gives me permission to also take care of myself) DBT and CBT can be really helpful especially in a group setting if that's your jam. You should never feel guilty ❤️
