Struggling with ADLs and Routine Disruption

Do any other autistic folks struggle with completing ADLs without really knowing why? I'm currently staying at my parents' house to catsit while they're out of town, and am having significantly more trouble taking care of myself (eating, bathing, hygiene) than I do when at home with my partner. Yet I don't know what deters me! Just my inner self going "no, no" ... due to disruption in routine, maybe? It's really making things hard. I need to take a shower, eat a meal. These are tasks I can physically perform independently, though still struggle some amount. But right now it is significantly more difficult, and I'm not sure what's up.

Additionally, I don't think it's just executive dysfunction, as I don't seem to have the same issue feeding the cats or cleaning their boxes, but these are easier tasks with less steps I suppose.

That is a huge change in your routine. I need prompts and sometimes help for most of my badls and someone else to do my iadls regularly, and the things I do I have paths for and I have to do all the steps. I can theoretically swallow meds with water but if there isn't yogurt I will not take them because the path is get up use the bathroom get yogurt and water say goodnight to mama take meds plug in devices go to bed. What do you normally connect to doing the tasks you need to do? Maybe there's a way to recreate it there and unblock your path.
