I definitely do. Pain meds don't work, and the doctors have started treating me like I'm drug seeking, even though I've expressed, repeatedly, that I don't want opiates because I have a family history of addiction, a behavior that only adds to my feeling hopeless and diseased. That may have been tmi, but you're definitely not alone in finding it hard to cope.

I completely understand not wanting opiates. I despise them because they just mask the pain. My Dr now has me on 4 different muscle relaxers just to take the edge off.

I do. I was in a car accident in 2019 I have back and neck issues from it along with autoimmune disease hashimotes disease and hypothyroidism. I refuse to take any pain medicine beacuse addiction runs in my family. I have been waiting over 3 months for insurance to approve back injections 😭 and my primary Dr says autoimmune diseases usually come in pairs so positive I have somthing else wrong but Drs won't listen !and all of this causes me to become extremely anxiety ridden and depression on a daily basis. Your not alone ❤️

We're all here with u. Ur not alone. Its so hard to convey how much it effects your life when you wake up every single day feeling unwell! There are heat therapy machines you can buy. I've had a bit of success with one I got from amazon. It does help but the effect doesn't last very long. For some people, I think, it works better tho. I've also just bought myself a tDCS machine from Amazon (at great expense unfortunately, it does mean I'm skint now) I'm yet to try it buy apparently they are fantastic for relieving depression....we shall see.

heat doesn't work.for me, but I have had a bit of success with electroshock. Unfortunately, it only works for about an hour. My psych meds and epilepsy meds make it very difficult to find a good med match for my fibro. I just seem to take one step forward and two back.
