Well what I do to help me with mine is that I find something I like to do and do it. I know that is easier said than done but it works for me.

What I've been doing is play a word game or color or sew. I find that focusing on something else for the time being calms me down and grounds me.

I have been there before. My advice to that, is to accomplish something, it doesn't matter what it is, could be something big,or small, it really doesn't matter what it is, just accomplish it, and that will spark the motivation fire

Being in my 20s reshaping my phone helped-getting rid of social media and adding apps that encourage me to do stuff (finch, 10 min workout, meditation etc) really made it harder for me to get trapped in loops

I am sorry you are feeling this way. I have been there. I am glad you are reaching out. That is a huge step! I agree with @mugs comment. Choose at least one small thing a day to accomplish. Even if all you do is get out of bed for a few hrs. That few hours is an accomplishment! Each and every step, no matter how insignificant it feels, is a step towards feeling better. Every step is an accomplishment! Tell yourself "I did well today. I got out of bed." Try to stay up a little longer and add little activities (play a game, journal, text a friend, sit outside or take a short walk) each day. These are some of the things I do to help me: word or matching games on my phone. Boggle, word stack and chuzzles 2 are my favorites. Puzzles and adult color books are very soothing and therapeutic for me. They give me a great sense of accomplishment. You are not alone! I know how hard it was for you to reach out. I am here for you, if you need someone to talk to. πŸ™πŸ’œ πŸ«‚

I have tried a multitude of meds. The one that helped me the most was Vibryd. It not only stabilized my moods, it untangled the ball of twine in my head. I could finally think clearly and my racing mind calmed down.

I usually draw and color and listen to music. Try to find something you normally enjoy doing may get you out of your depression. I hope this helps you. I'm here to talk if you need someone
