I do! I was 19 when I realized what it was and everything made sense. Nobody has any clue what it is so its always a surprise to see someone mention it.

Dyscalculia and dyslexia together is so frustrating at times. And i have failed so many math classes because of it. What was your experience growing up with it and finding out? How do you cope with things now?

honestly it was just a lot of math anxiety and being yelled at at school growing up :( i always felt so stupid and so confused why math was the only subject i was bad at :,) getting diagnosed was so eye opening to me because it reduced a lot of my anxiety,, i genuinely thought i was so stupid for not being as good or quick at math as everyone else which caused me so much humiliation and self esteem issues in the past (i also got diagnosed fairly recently, earlier this year) rn my math teacher is aware of my dyscalculia and he’s very helpful with accommodating for me,, right now im not doing too well in math but im still passing!!! and i don’t think i would be passing if it wasn’t for my teacher’s support with routine tutorials and accommodations :) i hope this was helpful !!

I relate to that plenty! All my math teachers gave up so I did too. Im so glad diagnosis did that for you and you have a teacher whos helping. I want to get more teachers educated and trained on helping us because no accommodations means we cant grow that part of our brains. Makes me really happy to hear about this. And hey, passing is amazing! Good job ❤️ 👍

Ahhh yes! I have it minor though and havent been diagnosed. Its hard to do like simple subtraction in my head like I do most my stiff, and I've never been able to divide on paper or in my head so I've always have to use a calculator. Sorry if this isnt what you mean!!

Too me a second to realize that word wasn’t dislexia. I was like “obviously, lots of people have it” LOL
