Struggling with Feeling Clean

I shower everyday at night right before bed because it feels like that's the time I have to, if I don't do it at night my day feels different and ruined, like if I shower in the middle of the day I get so confused and upset. But, when I wake up in the morning I feel gross...and dirty... despite recently showering and then no matter what I never feel clean enough...like I feel like I have to keep washing myself and keep washing my hands ...I just never feel clean... Anyone else experience this 🫤

I used to have a chronic handwashing problem when I first noticed my blue birthmark again. I did not know that I always had it. But I also have a bad memory and get confused really easily. My mom told me that I always had it and it is safe. That made me feel less in need to wash something that she and I both knew wouldn't go away. At least not from water.
