Struggling with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Seeking Advice

Hi, I was diagnosed with hs a couple of years ago by the doctors after a few years of getting the courage to go and they just said I have hs and join a support group that was it and over the time I have struggled with dealing with it and I went again to see my doctors and the doctor I saw didn't even know what hs was and didn't get much help. I am wondering how do some of you cope with it and what you do to help?

I have Crohn's and my GI doctor referred me to a dermatologist for diagnosis. The dermatologist gave me a prescription for clindamyacin topical to apply twice daily and said to when I shower to alternate washing with pan-oxyl and hibiclense, which are both available over the counter. Luckily mine isn't severe at this time and it's possible the Remicade I'm on for Crohn's is helping keep it that way.
