Being a super hard worker, but being totally out of commission when I get sick. It makes work difficult to keep up with at times.

I struggle with keeping up with other people. Everyone moves at such a fast pace that it's hard to keep up with.

I know how you feel.. My partner is a very fast paced person and I try to keep up but I can't. I can't keep up because that's not who I am. I move at slower pace and that pace is just right for me. I shouldn't feel like I have to rush. Sometimes it's just nice to stop and smell the flowers.. Sometimes it's nice to just slow down and enjoy life to the best of your ability. Hope this helps. I struggle to get people in my life to understand that I am disabled. I look able-bodied and healthy. But I can’t work, I can’t focus, I have abnormal sleep needs, atypical migraines, etc. I barely remember to take my meds on time. I just had an interaction with my older brother and he told me I’m “too young to have chronic pain.”

@Solar_Eclipse I feel like that is what's wrong with society. What they don't understand they "bully" and that's the difference between ignorance and arrogance. Just because they don't have issues.. They aren't able to understand that they exist and maybe it's their way of saying that they don't understand and by being a "bully" all they are doing is enabling themselves to accept it. Having a different diet, I come from a family of foodies. My sister is obsessed with Chipotle and insists on having it for lunch every Saturday. She would get frustrated when I couldn’t eat it anymore and get in fights with me. I am torn between wanting to feel better and wanting keep a relationship with those around me.
