Struggling with Mental Health: Seeking Advice

Hi, my name is Jonah. I'm 18, and recently I've been hearing about conditions like Bipolar Disorder or Schizophrenia, and I often display those symptoms. I also have an often critical voice in my head that sometimes feeds me negative comments, but can also be helpful when I need to be logical about a situation. I'm also moderately depressed (according to a test I took). Do anyone of you have problems like this?

There are different types of schizophrenia including schizoaffectice. This means that you have a co-occurring disorder of schizophrenia and a mood disorder (depression, anxiety, or bipolar). It is common to be schizoaffect with bipolar. It is also possible to have a main diagnosis of a mood disorder (anxiety, depression, bipolar) and have psychotic features. When people reach a high or low with their mood they can experience psychosis. Definitely look into finding a psychiatrist. This is the only way to know for sure! Good luck 💕

I was thinking along those lines too. I read both definitions and symptoms on Google and I felt like I related to the symptoms. I'm kind of afraid to seek help, I feel like that'll only legitimize the issue and make it worse
