Struggling with Motivation: ADHD and Depression

What works best to help motivate? I have ADHD and depression, and I'm not sure which it is related to, but sometimes it can be overwhelming to start some things, even if they are things I know I would enjoy such as a video game or a project, but also chores like dishes and laundry. Once I have started a task I will get hyperfocused on it and keep going for hours if I have the time, but getting started is the hardest part. Most of the time I end up on my phone during my free time. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Best thing for you to do is relax make a plan and tell yourself everyday or every hour that this needs to be done no arguments no stopping
