Struggling with Self-Care: Any Advice?

Hi everyone! I’m having trouble with self-care lately (hygiene). I do it just not regularly. Does anyone else relate or have any advice? Also recently diagnosed! Thanks ☺️

Before I was diagnosed I had problems with hygiene, too. Here's some advice that helped me a LOT and has changed my hygiene game! I suggest (if you have the money to invest) buying hygiene products that get you excited to use. As I got older and had money I was able to buy shampoos and conditioners that appealed to my senses and needs. I also bought deodorants that smelled amazing to me ( I always recommend aluminum free/antiperspirant free deodorants). I bought body sprays that made me feel good and learned how to apply them so I had a wafting scent when I came walking by. And doing this has helped tremendously! If you're not able to get many products, start with one or two and go from there. (: I hope this helps. <3

Make a list of what needs to be done & check if off as you finish each task!

Use products that make you happy. Treat yourself to good quality shower products that make your skin soft and smell amazing. Get a fancy electric tooth brush and a good tasting tooth paste or mouth wash. Buy a really nice and cute hair brush. These are things that help me to take care of myself so I hope they could help you.

I struggle with this as well, find your favorite smell good things!! Take the time for yourself to take a long hot shower, exfoliate, take the time for yourself! You deserve it!!
