Struggling with Weight and Control

I have struggled with my weight and I have been having issues with not having control in my life. All that being said I've never been diagnosed with an eating disorder. I don't want to self diagnose but I feel like it might be something I should bring up with my therapist but I'm just not sure if it is really an issue and I don't want to bring it up if it isn't. I am overweight so anytime I've told doctors about my planned weight loss they have encouraged it I'm just not sure anymore.

I think I would have brought it up and think about it together with your therapist… together you may find out if it’s an issue or not.

Bring it up now. I waited until i dropped to the other end of the spectrum and now i am struggling to gain pounds back. Don't wait.

i can really relate to this. i’m extremely overweight for my age so when i say i’m not hungry or i wanna lose weight everyone encourages it which is kinda sucky in my opinion. if you think talking to someone would help, then definitely do it. do what’s best for you!

I can relate, however talking with people; even if you think it is minor, you should bring it up with your therapist! Good luck Luna!

First of all you are beautiful in any size, just a reminder :) I think that all women have some degree of eating disorders because of all the media, it's sad but no matter what our size is we will feel that we could be skinnier.. Secondly I think that if you feel you should bring it up, you definitely need to do it, listen to yourself!! good luck🙏

It's entirely possible to have am eatting disorder and be average or over weight... I'm proud of you for asking questions when you feel like there is a problem, I know how hard that can be, exspecially when weight centered. I agree to please bring it up to your therapist.
