Try taking IBGard when you have flare-ups. The peppermint oil helps you relax your colon muscles and stops you from constantly running to the bathroom. I've been using it for years now and I have had fewer flare-ups since taking it. I don't eat as much fast food as I used to. If I do, I usually get Wendy's and get a grilled chicken sandwich from there. It doesn't bother me as burgers from fast food places do.

Not necessarily with the train but I've absolutely been there. Over a year ago I cut out soda, a few months ago cut out red meat and I'm pretty careful what I eat now, haven't had a bad flare in months.

Thank you all for your help and support! :) I managed to get home fine and for once it passed quickly, I did suffer for the next few days but hey, takeouts taste too damn good sometimes and cooking can be dull :)
