Dealing with Joint Pain: Suboxone and Stomach Issues

I'm currently using Suboxone through a substance abuse treatment program to help with my joint pain mostly in my elbows. I haven't had a drug problem for years.but I used to be a opiate addict. My stomach has issues from over a decade ago I used to take about 5 800mg ibuprofens a day on a empty stomach mostly. I thought u was industrucitible. Now I can't take ibuprofen or hardly any medications nor can I drink. If I drink than the next day Il throw up a mucus thick with strings blood in it and my stomach will hurt for weeks. And if I drink it's as if the alcohol goes straight into my blood. One can of beer can get me drunk and than the next 2-3 days il feel like I drank a full case. I've had just about every type of test I can to find if I have a bad liver, kidney, or an ulcer. anyone else have something similar happen?

Yes I can relate to everything you said except I never took anything without having food in my stomach. I grew up in the drug culture of the sixties. Fortunately I married a wonderful Christian woman that strengthened my faith in Jesus Christ. I stopped abusing my body for twenty years. Then as I entered middle age I had several surgeries for hips replacement and unfortunately I became addicted to pain medication. For many years I depended on these meds to keep working until retirement. Now I no longer use opiates for pain and discovered SUBOXONE which not only removed my need for opiates but helped with controlling my pain. In my opinion SUBOXONE is a miracle drug.
